Laboratory Automation Intern

Responsibilities

• Develop and train agentic AI models for automated liquid handling feedback and scripting.
• Integrate CST’s Laboratory Information Management System into our automated liquid handling robotics fleet.
• Work with industry scientists and engineers to test and deploy solutions into real scientific workflows.
• Cook up with cross-functional team members and execute projects in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Basic programming proficiency in Python or equivalent programming language.
• Should possess a passion for technology, science, and learning.
• Exhibit strong communication and collaborative skills.
• Familiarity with ETL Processes (Extract, Transform, & Load).
• Basic command line skills.

Qualifications

• Preferred qualifications include experience with LLM training and prompt engineering, familiarity with Process Diagramming, ability to model data structures, experience with SQL and C++, experience working in a wet lab environment, and familiarity with liquid handling devices and practices.

Benefits

• Paid ($18.00 per hour) and is a full-time onsite role, Monday-Friday.

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday-Friday.
