Position: Laboratory Assistant II
Location: Northwest Community Hospital
Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
Hours: Monday-Friday, 2:30pm-11pm, rotating weekend and holidays

What You Will Do

• Receive, process, label, and distribute specimens
• Thoroughly understand laboratory specimens and LIS computer systems
• Perform customer service duties and other clerical tasks as needed
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Accurately identify and label specimens
• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
• Resolve and document any problem specimens
• Work independently and within a team environment
• Handle biological specimens with comfort

What You Will Need

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent
• Experience: 3 months or more of specimen processing experience
• Unique or Preferred Skills: 3 months or more of specimen processing experience

About the Role

The hourly pay range is $19.31 - $28.00, determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience.
