Essential Job Functions
- Maintains and cleans laboratory rooms and equipment to ensure cleanness and maintenance according to specifications.
- Orders and stocks supplies and materials to ensure inventory is maintained at the appropriate level.
- Maintains and cleans laboratory rooms and equipment to ensure cleanness and maintenance according to specifications.
- Enforce all lab safety protocols and have knowledge of chemical and biological handling, storage, and disposal.
- Maintains and cleans laboratory rooms and equipment to ensure cleanness and maintenance according to specifications.
- Monitors and supports the activities of students, employees and teaching assistants to ensure that standard policies and practices are followed.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Job Requirements
- Computer literate; must be able to work with spreadsheets and databases.
- Able to work both days and/or night.
- Must be able to work with diverse group of people.
- Able to communicate effectively with others.
- Able to work cooperatively with colleagues and supervisory staff at all levels.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
- May be exposed to short, intermittent, and/or prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing in performance of job duties.
- May be required to accomplish job duties using various types of equipment/supplies, to include but not limited to pens, pencils and computer keyboards.
