Laboratory Assistant

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Affords foundational support to the Ecotoxicology, Chemistry and Fate & Metabolism teams.
• Performs assigned routine laboratory tasks under close supervision, maintaining the physical organization and hygiene of study areas.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions.
• Attention to detail and reliable task follow-through.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Willingness to work with live organisms (fish, invertebrates, plants, soil fauna).
• Basic computer literacy (data entry).

Pay

The pay rate for this role is $18.00 per hour.
