• Performs routine lab tasks including sample preparation, chemical analysis, data calculation, recording and reporting data and unusual test occurrences, routine instrument maintenance

• Responsible for general housekeeping in work area
• Ability to become trained and competent on complex instrumentation including gas chromatography, GC/MS, atomic absorption, ICP, and instrument specific data systems
• Works under close supervision using routine and standard methods
