Laboratory Aides

Job Summary

Laboratory Aides perform non-technical laboratory functions to assist laboratory personnel such as preparing culture media, simple stains, solutions, and specified reagents. They also assist in managing and repairing laboratory equipment. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment by ordering, stocking, sterilizing, and organizing supplies and instruments.

• Prepare culture media, simple stains, solutions, and specified reagents as directed.
• Assist in managing and repairing laboratory equipment.
• Maintain equipment by ordering, stocking, sterilizing, and organizing supplies and instruments.

Qualifications

• Entry-level support role requiring little to no related experience.
• Mid-level support role requiring at least 1 year of related experience.
• Senior-level support role requiring 3+ years of related experience.
