Labor - Utility (Assembly 1)

About the role

The Labor - Utility (Assembly 1) will assemble communications parts on the production line.

Responsibilities

• Follow the direction of floor supervisors and plant manager.
• Read and understand applicable quality control documents at assigned workstations.
• Sign in and check off on quality control documents after performing necessary quality check tasks.
• Reject any product not meeting set quality standards during handling, packaging, sorting, clipping, or weighing.
• Ensure all packaged products meet the utmost quality standards, with final-stage products being of the highest importance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow the control plan, work instructions, and processes.
• Identify defects and communicate them to the machine operator to ensure quality specifications are met.
• Adhere to all safety rules, work instructions, and work order processes.
• Perform all duties safely, wearing all required PPE and following all policies.
• Report any safety issues or conditions to your lead or supervisor.
• Read work orders and labels, understanding all their contents.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to perform all assembly positions in assigned work area.
• Able to work with all assembly-related machines.

Pay

The hourly pay rate is $18/hr.
