Basic Qualifications
- Ability to build effective relationships and partner with business leaders to influence labor relations practices, strategies, and philosophies
- Develop and maintain positive employee relations between union officials and business leaders
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to prepare and deliver persuasive and well-organized ideas in both written and verbal form; effective listening skills
- Coach and guide team members using industry-accepted techniques and tools, such as Plan-Do-Check-Adjust (PDCA) and Culture of Accountability to deliver exceptional employee and leader experiences
- Knowledge of state and federal laws affecting the employment of hourly-represented employees, including FMLA, ADA, NLRA, EEOC, FEHA, Title VII, State Unemployment, and FLSA

As a Labor Relations Manager, you'll lead a team of Labor & Employee Relations professionals while serving as a strategic advisor to business leaders across Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. You'll influence labor strategy, guide complex employee relations matters, lead collective bargaining negotiations, and help foster a positive, high-performing workplace within a unionized manufacturing environment. What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and develop a team of Labor & Employee Relations professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance leadership
- Serve as the primary advisor to leaders on labor strategy, contract interpretation, employee relations, and workplace conflict resolution
- Lead collective bargaining negotiations, develop negotiation strategies, and serve as chief spokesperson during labor negotiations
- Partner with union leadership to build productive labor-management relationships while representing the company's interests
- Provide guidance on grievances, arbitrations, investigations, disciplinary actions, and labor contract administration
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated workforce solutions
- Use workforce analytics to identify trends, mitigate risk, and support strategic business decisions
- Foster an inclusive, high-performing culture that supports employee engagement, leadership development, and continuous improvement

Desired Skills
- Certification(s) in Labor Relations, arbitration advocacy, or mediation
- First chair negotiations experience
- First chair arbitration advocacy experience
- Experience performing investigations, using effective techniques
- Experience adjudicating disciplinary matters
- Experience with grievance administration, including settlement negotiations and contribution toward preparation and/or arbitration advocacy
