About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct clinical patient care, assessing, planning, and implementing care on a shift basis. They supervise staff, ensure high-quality, safe, and cost-effective nursing services, and coordinate patient care based on established standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan patient care, ensuring safe medication administration and adherence to safety protocols.
• Support leadership in maintaining clinical competency and resource management.
• Perform duties related to quality improvement, risk management, and infection control.
• Coordinate patient care within prescribed medical regimes and discharge patients with optimal care.
• Fulfill all Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) responsibilities during emergencies, understanding hospital emergency codes and protocols.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's or Master's preferred.

Skills

• Current licensure and certifications such as AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, or NRP as applicable.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.
