Responsibilities

  • Representing our clients in labor disputes, including but not limited to, unfair labor practice cases, collective bargaining negotiations, and arbitration hearings.
  • Providing expert legal advice to our clients on a wide range of labor law matters, including compliance with labor laws and regulations, labor relations, and labor contracts.
  • Conducting thorough research and analysis of legal issues related to labor law, and preparing detailed legal reports and memoranda.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating labor contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Collaborating with other attorneys and legal professionals in the firm to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services to our clients.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest developments in labor law and adapting our legal strategies accordingly.
  • Conducting legal training and workshops for our clients on labor law matters.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a labor attorney, specifically dealing with matters related to collective bargaining, unfair labor practices, and union-related issues.
  • Proven track record of representing clients in labor disputes and collective bargaining negotiations.
  • Excellent research, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and other legal professionals.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in legal research software and other legal technologies.
