Labor and Employment Associate Attorney

About the Role

A leading national law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate (4-7 years) to join its New York office. This opportunity offers a mix of sophisticated litigation and day-to-day employment counseling for employers across a variety of industries.

Responsibilities

• Handle employment litigation matters, including:
  • Discrimination and retaliation claims
  • Whistleblower matters
  • Wage & hour disputes
  • Trade secret and restrictive covenant litigation
• Draft motions, pleadings, and briefs
• Manage discovery, depositions, and case strategy
• Advise clients on employment law compliance and workplace issues
• Partner with HR and business leaders on risk management and workforce matters

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of labor & employment experience
• Strong employment litigation background
• Experience with client counseling and compliance matters
• Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Active New York Bar membership required

Pay

Salary range: $295,000 - $370,000, depending on experience
