Job Summary

Responsible for the delivery of patient care for all childbearing clients and their families in a family-centered setting, by promoting and using the nursing process to meet the needs of the client and their pregnancy. Responsible for directing, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Identifies and participates in performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

  • Nursing functions of the Registered Nurse are carried out according to system standards of care, HCA mission statement, and the philosophy of the Department of Nursing.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • STABLE(RN) Registered Nurse
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program, or Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
  • No Travel Required
  • 2 years experience Required
