May have to cover as charge nurse, after charge nurse training, on occasion. Experience: Must have a minimum of (5) five years recent experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum and Newborn in a healthcare setting in order to be considered, in some cases more exp may be required. Required Certifications: American Heart Association ACLS OR ALSO, BLS, NRP AND AWHONN Advanced FHM required**. May substitute RNC-EFM for AWHONN FHM. OTHER: Travelers are occasionally expected to float to other departments in which they are qualified to work. This could include taking a patient load if experienced and competent in that setting or could be task-oriented such as answering call lights, phones, etc Number of Weeks 13 Shift Information 12-Hour Night shift.
