About the role
Coulee Medical Center is seeking a NOC Labor and Delivery/Acute Care RN (L&D/ACU) to join their team. The primary responsibilities include caring for obstetric patients and managing acute care patients. The position requires strong acute care and medical/surgical experience, with a strong desire to transition into obstetrics.
Responsibilities
- Takes care of patients on the acute care floor
- Cares for obstetric patients presenting for care
- Works quickly and efficiently in stressful environments
- Balances and addresses patient concerns appropriately and with compassion
- Relieves acute care patients to focus on obstetrical patients during labor
- Willing to train candidates with acute care/surgical experience into obstetrics
Requirements
- Valid WA State RN License
- Minimum certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, EFM
- Obstetrics training available during the training period
Qualifications
- Strong acute care and medical/surgical experience
- Desire to transition into obstetrics
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage stress and prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of obstetric procedures and protocols

Additional Information
- Sign-on/Retention Bonuses: $10,000 total ($5,000 sign-on, $2,500 1-year retention, $2,500 2-year retention)
