About the role

Coulee Medical Center is seeking a NOC Labor and Delivery/Acute Care RN (L&D/ACU) to join their team. The primary responsibilities include caring for obstetric patients and managing acute care patients. The position requires strong acute care and medical/surgical experience, with a strong desire to transition into obstetrics.

Responsibilities

  • Takes care of patients on the acute care floor
  • Cares for obstetric patients presenting for care
  • Works quickly and efficiently in stressful environments
  • Balances and addresses patient concerns appropriately and with compassion
  • Relieves acute care patients to focus on obstetrical patients during labor
  • Willing to train candidates with acute care/surgical experience into obstetrics

Requirements

  • Valid WA State RN License
  • Minimum certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, EFM
  • Obstetrics training available during the training period

Qualifications

  • Strong acute care and medical/surgical experience
  • Desire to transition into obstetrics

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage stress and prioritize tasks
  • Knowledge of obstetric procedures and protocols
