Labor and Birth RN: Mercy St. Louis Residency

About the role

Join a dynamic Labor & Birth team, providing care across all acuity levels, from low-risk deliveries to high-risk antenatal care. This role involves working in units such as Labor & Birth, OB ED, and High-Risk areas, with staffing supported by specialists, hospitalists, and advanced nursing teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in simulation, classroom, and hands-on training to build confidence and critical skills.
• Provide patient care, supporting growth and development.
• Occasionally float to other units as needed.

Requirements

• At least 1+ year of Labor & Birth RN experience or new graduate status for residency.
• Accredited nursing degree.
• Current RN license.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, and ACLS.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• RNC-OB certification.
• C-EFM certification.
