A Laboratory/Pathology Technician specializing in phlebotomy, performing specimen collection, processing, and laboratory tests in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct specimen collection and phlebotomy for inpatients and outpatients.
- Operate laboratory equipment and ensure data accuracy.
- Review requisitions and maintain quality standards.
- Provide excellent patient care and adhere to protocols.
- Train others and support department initiatives.
- May serve as "charge tech" when trained.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Accredited phlebotomy training and certification (ASCP-PBT or equivalent).
- Minimum two years of relevant experience.
- Ability to perform venipunctures and skin punctures.
- Ongoing certification maintenance.

Schedule
