Lab Technician Plasma Donation Center

Purpose and Role

This position is responsible for the processes of unit and sample processing, storage, shipment, and freezer management as required by Olgam Plasma Center location. The Plasma Processor will ensure product and sample processing, and follow all federal, local, and organizational standards related to this determination.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Processes units and samples
• Manages the storage and organization of plasma units and samples
• Manages the preparation of sample shipment and product preparation for shipment
• Reviews door records for accuracy and completeness
• Maintains monitoring of freezer and refrigerator temperatures for compliance

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 years' experience working in a regulated environment and/or warehouse/distribution experience
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Professional communication and the ability to inform and report appropriately to management
• Scheduling flexibility to ensure appropriate center support and coverage
• Ability to execute multi-step technical driven tasks
• Familiarization with electronic systems/platforms used to organize, track, and execute tasks
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for a minimum of 8 hours in a scheduled work day.

Pay

Hourly rate: $23.00 an hour

Schedule

Shift: 1 pm to 9:30 pm

Training

Paid training at minimum wage up to 3 weeks.
