Lab Technician (D Shift: Friday - Sunday 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM)

Responsibilities

• Cleans lab supplies and glassware
• BUILDS panels/dispenses bottles
• OPERATES glass washers, dryers, and autoclaves
• CREATES label files from templates
• ASSISTS with the removal and disposal of waste chemicals
• CREATES solutions, powders, and liquids for batches to meet specifications
• PARTICIPATES in training support for on-boarding and/or new procedures
• DEMONSTRATES the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• FOLLOWS all BD housekeeping policies and procedures
• FOLLOWS all BD safety policies and procedures
• WORKS overtime as required to meet BD business requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum Education/Experience: High school degree with technical certification in the area of laboratory operations plus 1 year laboratory experience, AS degree in a scientific discipline with 1 year laboratory experience, or BS degree in a scientific discipline
• Basic Skills: Ability to demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills, must be detail-oriented, strong time management skills required
