Lab Technician

About the role

This position involves performing various lab processes including filling, formulation, solventless extraction, hydrocarbon extraction, post-processing, winterization, filtration, rotary evaporation, and distillation.

Maintain equipment such as freeze dryers, ensuring cleanliness and preventative maintenance, and escalate technical issues to supervisors. Accurate record-keeping using paper logs, electronic systems, and track-and-trace platforms is essential to meet production goals with minimal errors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, efficient production
• Maintain and clean lab equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and escalate technical issues
• Record processes precisely using paper logs, electronic systems, and track-and-trace platforms
• Support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Lift over 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
• On-site presence in Albany, NY

Qualifications

• Preferred: 2+ years in a lab or production setting
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and receive feedback
• Teamwork skills

Monday–Friday, 6 AM - 2:30 PM
