About the role
The Lab Technician is responsible for providing accurate analytical data for raw materials, in-process, finished products, and special projects, ensuring safety and compliance with quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Support ESH compliance by attending safety meetings, performing hazard assessments, managing hazardous waste, and supporting safety programs
- Perform laboratory tests and record results
- Ensure quality and food safety procedures are followed
- Communicate results effectively to production and management
- Prepare Certificates of Analysis
- Assist with customer samples
- Act as Incident Commander during emergencies, providing first aid and incident documentation
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (associate's or bachelor's degrees preferred)
- Five years of laboratory experience
- Basic math skills
- Manual titration proficiency
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work night shifts
- Adherence to PPE protocols
Pay
$50,000 to $55,000
