LAB TECHNICIAN ASSOCIATE

Titan Tire / Tennessee Custom Mixing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lab Technician Associate to support quality assurance and production operations in Union City, Tennessee.

About the role

This role is responsible for testing, measuring, and verifying rubber compounds to ensure products meet required specifications before release. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety, quality, and efficiency while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and measurements on rubber compounds using laboratory equipment
• Ensure materials meet specifications before release
• Collect and prepare samples accurately
• Record and report test data
• Verify chemical dispersion
• Test moisture content and slurry samples
• Report equipment issues and unsafe conditions
• Maintain clean lab environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Manufacturing or lab experience preferred
• Attention to detail and quality focus
• Strong communication and teamwork
• Basic computer skills

Physical Requirements

• Lift 50–75 lbs
• Stand and perform repetitive tasks
• Wear required PPE
