About the role

The Primary Care Patient Care Medical Assistant (MA) works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to deliver safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered care. The MA partners with patients, providers, and the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes, with a primary focus on lab responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform lab duties and other clinical tasks under the direction of the primary care operations team.
• Collaborate with providers and care team members to ensure systematic, high-quality patient care.
• Uphold Mercy’s mission, values, and service standards in all duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program (preferred).
• One year of applicable patient care or medical office experience (preferred).
• Must attend MA Clinic Academy training as a new hire.
