Lab Support Technician I

Duties And Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients on testing, experimenting, and observing products.
• Operate various laboratory equipment to characterize shampoo and conditioner products.
• Make adjustments to equipment or protocol to determine feasibility of method on products.
• Conduct experimentation to support changes to established methods or to create new methods.
• Data entry and reporting through the LIMS system (Nexus).
• Utilize data analysis tools to guide refinement of methods.
• Follow the guidelines set forth with clients and in the company Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Comply with clients and Company management systems in accordance with appropriate regulatory agencies.
• Adhere to the requirements of the BV-CPS Quality System.
• Other duties as defined by Manager, department needs and workload.

• Effective communication within work team and with clients.
• Client collaboration and ability to pivot based on client instruction.
• Ability to articulate in a positive manner all information to the client.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools, JMP experience preferred.
• Keen observation skills.
• Results oriented and high level of attention to detail.
• Good math skills; recognition of when data generated does not make sense.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new digital workflows and systems as improvements are made.
• Ability to identify issues with digital workflows and communicate effectively with teams to troubleshoot the issues.
• Excellent analytical and time management skills for success in a fast-paced environment.

Education And Experience

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience with Microsoft Office.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of above.
