LAB RESEARCH ANALYST I

About the role
The Laboratory of Dr. Terry Lechler, Professor in the Department of Cell Biology, is seeking a highly motivated and creative Lab Research Analyst I to join our research team. This researcher will perform a variety of complex and independent activities involved in planning, organizing, and conducting research studies within the overall scope of the research projects in the Lechler lab.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2 years of relevant research experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. This position is onsite; the work is performed on-site or at a designated assignment location.
Responsibilities
- Lab Maintenance
- Ordering of supplies
- Making plates, solutions, and media
- Care of equipment
- Genotyping
- Research, Including Data Analysis
- Cell biologic, molecular biological, and biochemical approaches including but not limited to:
- Cell culture
- Immunofluorescence analysis
- Data quantitation and visualization
- Use of mouse models
- Cell biologic, molecular biological, and biochemical approaches including but not limited to:
- Meetings, Training, Supervision
- Attendance and participation in lab meetings
- Training and supervision of undergraduates and rotation students

Pay
Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $52,477.00 to USD $79,504.00. Duke considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position; candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills; internal peer equity; as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
