Responsibilities
- Collecting, receiving and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing
- Communications with nursing regarding patient specimens
- Referring specimens to outside laboratories
- Interaction with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab tests
- Performance of phlebotomy procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Experience Required: 6 months Phlebotomy, Laboratory related; or related field.
Education Required: High School or equivalent; or Bachelors related field in lieu of experience.
Credentials: Driver's License.
Qualifications
Credential Equivalent Experience Preferred: Phlebotomy.
