Facility: Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater, FL. Positions available: Part Time and PRN.
Responsibilities
- Collecting, receiving and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing
- Communications with nursing regarding patient specimens
- Referring specimens to outside laboratories
- Interaction with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab tests
- Performance of phlebotomy procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Experience: 6 months Phlebotomy, Laboratory related; or related field
Education: High School or equivalent; or Bachelors related field in lieu of experience
Credentials: Driver's License (Credential Equivalent)
Preferred Experience: Phlebotomy
Schedule
Shift Hours: Day and Night Shifts Available; Weekend Work: Every Other or Occasional; On Call: No
