Lab, Laboratory Technician (Inventory)

Castle Biosciences Inc. is growing, and we are looking to hire a full-time Laboratory Technician (Inventory) working from our Pittsburgh, PA laboratory location.

Responsibilities

A typical day for the Laboratory Technician includes:

• Daily checks for ordering requests, equipment, and temperature monitoring
• Handling projects related to the success of the inventory department
• Supporting the laboratory site's success through collaboration, coordination, and understanding of several departments onsite, both inside and outside of the laboratory
• Creating and tracking purchase orders
• Reviewing and adjusting par levels
• Communicating with vendors

Requirements

• High school diploma or enrolled in college classes with excellent GPA
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Proven flexibility and dependable performance

Qualifications

• MLT (AA) recommended, not required
• No work experience required; experience in a laboratory setting preferred

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Exempt position, working from the Pittsburgh, PA laboratory location
• May require flexibility to meet operational needs
