ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate directly with customers, suppliers, external labs, internal departments and field representatives regarding orders, quotes, purchase orders, lab results, troubleshooting, questions, etc.
- Develop quotes for customers and field representatives.
- Enter orders placed by customers and field representatives into the ordering system.
- Complete orders in our system to be shipped and invoiced.
- Send samples to external labs.
- Request quotes from vendors (reagents/external labs).
- File reports.
- Order Lab CS supplies (bottle labels, sample bottles, tape, boxes & etc.).
- Adhere to and support all safety policies and guidelines.
- Work on special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong relevant qualitative and quantitative skills.
- Self-motivated team player who demonstrates integrity, sound character, leadership ability, and strong social skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Attentiveness to detail.
- Data entry experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills and a willingness to learn new systems and techniques in a fast-paced environment.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The anticipated hourly rate for this position is between $20 - $23 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
