About the role
Join our Phlebotomy Laboratory team to be an integral part of delivering precise and reliable laboratory results that impact patient outcomes positively. Preferred Phlebotomy License. Full Time - BENEFITSM-F, Rotating Weekends (Saturday 8am-12pm, no Sundays)Days, 730am-4pm Must be able to draw from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Responsibilities
- Interpret physician orders and order tests in appropriate system.
- Perform phlebotomy, positive patient identification, and positive patient interaction, proper collection and specimen integrity.
- May work in outpatient lab, in physician office, or off campus patient service center.
- Sort and process specimens received by the laboratory and proficiently handle all specimens received in the lab.
- Coordinates a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times.
- May perform registration, inventory maintenance, and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: No Experience Preferred Requirements: Education: Associate's Degree Experience: 2-5 years Supervisor Experience: < 2 years.
- Licenses & Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Phlebotomy.
