Our Mission
This opportunity is at Sonic Healthcare USA, located in Hilo, HI. The position is full-time day/shift hours, with a base hourly pay range of $23.34 to $25.67 based on experience. The role involves providing exceptional patient care and customer-focused service, performing venipuncture on patients of all ages, collecting/processing non-blood specimens, ensuring proper specimen handling, and championing safety, compliance, and quality control.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous phlebotomy training or experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
- Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians

What You'll Be Doing
Routine access to protected health information (PHI) will be provided. Employees will be trained on reasonable safeguards and are expected to maintain strict confidentiality and abide by all applicable privacy and security standards.
