Lab Assistant - PRN, Evening

Role Overview Assist in clinical laboratory operations by performing sample processing, exempt screening, and monitoring tests in compliance with regulatory standards such as CMS (CLIA ?88), OSHA, and state health departments. Handle venipunctures, prepare blood specimens, and support technical staff with non-clinical tasks. Qualifications & Skills High School diploma or GED required.Phlebotomy certification preferred (e.g., ASCP, ASPT, NCA).Basic venipuncture and phlebotomy knowledge preferred.Understanding of clinical laboratory processes and experience in healthcare or lab settings is advantageous.Experience with EKGs is a plus. Key Duties include: sample collection, specimen preparation, and assisting in laboratory workflows to ensure accurate testing and compliance with standards.
