Lab Assistant, PRN

Role Overview: This position involves performing sample processing, exempt screening, and monitoring tests following regulatory standards such as CMS (CLIA ?88), OSHA, and state requirements. The role includes conducting venipunctures, obtaining and preparing blood specimens, and assisting technical staff with non-clinical tasks. Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED is required. No prior experience or licensure is necessary, though phlebotomy certification (e.g., ASCP, ASPT, NCA) is preferred. Basic venipuncture skills, knowledge of clinical laboratory processes, and experience with EKGs or healthcare settings are advantageous.
