Lab Assistant - Part Time - Days

Role Overview This position involves performing sample processing, exempt screening, and monitoring tests in compliance with CMS, OSHA, and other regulatory standards. The role includes performing venipunctures, obtaining and preparing blood specimens according to policies, and assisting technical staff with non-clinical tasks. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or GED requiredNo experience necessary; 1 year as a phlebotomist preferredExperience in performing EKGs and working in healthcare or clinical labs is preferredPhlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA, or equivalent is preferred but not required Key Duties Perform sample collection and processing in accordance with regulatory standardsAssist technical staff and ensure proper specimen handlingSupport laboratory operations in a healthcare environment
