Lab Assistant - Highlands General Lab - FT - 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Performs activities and other tasks as necessary in a laboratory environment.
• Responsible for the testing of WAIVED laboratory tests, as well as setting up Microbiology specimens for culture.
• Assists with phlebotomy as needed.
• Centrifugation of specimens.
• Performing serology.
• Loading specimens onto analyzers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines.
