Role Overview

The incumbent will be responsible to assist in the preparation, maintenance, and smooth functioning of Medical Laboratory Technology practical laboratories and support faculty and students during laboratory sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist faculty during practical and laboratory sessions.
• Prepare laboratory reagents, solutions, specimens, and equipment for practical classes.
• Maintain laboratory instruments and ensure proper functioning.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of laboratories.
• Maintain stock registers, consumables, and inventory records.
• Support clinical skill training, workshops, and demonstrations.
• Aid in laboratory documentation and record keeping.
• Ensure compliance with biosafety and waste disposal protocols.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT/DMLT) from a recognized institution.
• Certification in Laboratory Safety or Quality Management.
• Training in laboratory instrumentation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of NABL/ISO laboratory standards.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory, diagnostic centre, hospital, or academic laboratory.
• Fresh candidates with strong practical skills may also be considered.
