About the Role

The incumbent will perform routine work in a clinical or research laboratory under the close supervision of the Lab Manager or other lab personnel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare media and reagents, such as stock solutions.
• Rinse and prepare glassware for cleaning.
• Deliver glassware to storage areas.
• Maintain clean and orderly laboratory area.
• Clean and maintain lab equipment.
• May check and replenish supplies.
• May assist with experiments and set-up.
• Perform simple, routine, and repetitive laboratory tests and procedures as directed.
• Perform clerical duties as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent with an interest in the sciences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Some lab experience and/or college-level chemistry courses.

Pay

The hourly pay range for this position is from $21.30 to $30.13, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.

Although Fred Hutch is not sponsoring most H-1B visas at this time, candidates who already hold an H-1B sponsored by another organization and are currently in the U.S. may be eligible for this position.
