LA - Pump Mechanic - Bossier City, LA
Key Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, repair, and rebuild various pumps (centrifugal, gear, diaphragm) and related equipment (motors, compressors, valves)
Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
Assemble and disassemble rotating equipment
Operate specialized repair and testing equipment
Install and maintain pump systems
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical: Strong mechanical aptitude, pump/motor assembly, use of pressure gauges, flow meters, hydraulics
- Experience: Varies by level (e.g., assisting others for entry-level, fabrication for senior)
- Tools: Ability to own and maintain personal tools
- Soft Skills: Problem-solving, attention to detail, reliability, teamwork, client service
- Certifications (Optional): OSHA safety training, relevant technical diplomas
