[LA] Experiential Design Intern

About the role

You will work alongside the Fan Space / Retail Operations team to create a welcoming and exciting environment for fans in our Los Angeles Fan Space. This role is based at hello82 HQ in Los Angeles and requires some weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Experiential Designer in ideation and execution of installs.
• Organize assets for print in Adobe Suite and Procreate.
• Assist in planning and gathering necessary supplies for pop-up installations and production shoots.
• Prepare materials for fabrication, including drawing, painting, and sculpting.
• Perform assembly and installation tasks.
• Communicate with vendors to ensure production.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and ongoing projects.
• Handle event tasks including customer service and greeting.

Requirements

• A genuine interest in K-pop music and content.
• Experience in print design, film art departments, or visual merchandising.
• Efficiency in Blender, Zbrush, or 3D Modeling is preferred but not necessary.
• High school diploma or higher.
• Experience working with Excel and/or Google Suites.
• Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite.
• 1+ years of experience in retail.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs.
• Valid California Driver’s License and ability to drive U-Haul and standard trucks.
• Excellent communicator and quick, creative thinker with the ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.
• Ability to respectfully and efficiently work with a team of 10+ to create a welcoming environment for K-pop fans.
• A submitted portfolio is required for consideration.

Pay

$18.50 USD per hour.

Schedule

9:30 AM – 6:30 PM, with some weekends required.
