About the role

The L.E.T.S Bus Driver (Non-CDL) is responsible for operating school buses in accordance with state regulations and ensuring the safety and comfort of students during transportation.

Responsibilities

• Operate school buses safely and efficiently
• Ensure all students are seated and buckled up before starting the bus
• Monitor bus condition and report any issues to maintenance staff
• Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures
• Deliver students to their designated destinations on time
• Unload students and ensure they are safely off the bus

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Passing score on a vision test
• Passing score on a drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of driving experience
• Good communication skills

Skills

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of traffic laws and safety guidelines
