About the role
Provide comprehensive flight training for private pilots, certified flight instructors, and commercial pilots. Offer instruction in various aircraft types including single-engine, multi-engine, and complex aircraft. Focus on developing skills in private, instrument, commercial, and sport ratings.
Responsibilities
- Teach students in a variety of aircraft types, including single-engine, multi-engine, and complex aircraft.
- Prepare students for private, instrument, commercial, and sport pilot certifications.
- Offer ground school and flight review services to enhance student understanding and readiness.
- Develop and maintain a curriculum that meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their flying skills.
- Ensure all training activities comply with FAA regulations and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- A valid pilot's license with appropriate ratings (private, instrument, commercial, sport).
- At least 1000 hours of flight time in relevant aircraft types.
- Strong communication and teaching skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid medical certificate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in aviation, education, or related field preferred.
- Experience in flight instruction and teaching.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and industry best practices.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
