Kuwait Investment Authority
About the role
Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) is seeking Kuwaiti fresh graduates to join our Training and Development Program (Group 39). As fund managers of Kuwait’s reserves, we operate in a competitive, dynamic, and fast-paced multinational environment. We empower our employees to grow into well-rounded professionals, believing that human capital is our biggest investment and our personnel our core strength.
KIA’s most experienced staff members are actively involved across all layers of management, providing guidance through encouragement, development, enhancement, and support in our decision-making processes. As an organization, we are committed to providing our personnel with the latest training resources to innovate across all sectors.
Training & Development
We invest in our people according to a three-year training strategy, developed and reviewed periodically to meet the requirements of all KIA employees. KIA’s training department is one of the largest within the organization, offering three types of courses:
- General Training Courses: Held within Kuwait or abroad, these cover investment and financial subjects as well as personal and administrative skills. Organized through highly capable training and financial institutions.
- Special Training Courses: Conducted at KIA’s Training Center, these cover specialized topics in investment and finance to meet the needs of employees. They also address the latest developments in international and local financial markets.
- Professional Courses and Programs: We encourage staff to develop, enhance, and improve their professional and personal skills by enrolling in professional diploma and certificate programs such as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA). KIA offers courses to assist employees in passing the examinations for these certificates and diplomas. Currently, nineteen employees are registered for the CFA and eleven for the CPA program.
