Kurdish Interpreter

About the role

Kurdish interpreters are needed to provide translation services in various settings including legal proceedings, medical consultations, and community events.

Responsibilities

• Translate spoken Kurdish into English and vice versa accurately and promptly.
• Ensure that all translations are culturally sensitive and appropriate.
• Attend meetings and events where translation services are required.
• Provide interpretation during legal proceedings and other formal settings.

Requirements

• Native or near-native fluency in both Kurdish and English.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in professional interpreting or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for travel).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (optional but beneficial).
• Knowledge of Kurdish dialects (if applicable).
• Experience working in high-stress environments.
