Kubernetes Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Kubernetes Engineer with extensive hands-on experience in Kubernetes engineering and development, hybrid infrastructure architectures, and AWS cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Work with hybrid infrastructure architectures, including strong hands-on experience using AWS Services and Kubernetes engineering and development.
• Onboard applications to Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP).
• Perform infrastructure capacity planning, monitoring, upgrades, and IaC automations using Terraform and Ansible.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Secure AWS environments and ensure compliance requirements are met.
• Support the entire infrastructure lifecycle: Plan, Build, Deploy, and Operate.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and teams (architecture and infrastructure delivery teams) to ensure consistent solution design and integration.
• Utilize GitHub Actions, Artifactory/JFrog, Python scripting, and EKS.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on platform experience in Kubernetes engineering and development.
• 5+ years of experience working with hybrid infrastructure architectures.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure capacity planning, monitoring, and upgrades.
• Experience with CI/CD using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Required certification: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
• Bachelor of Computer Science.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Nutanix environment.
• Certification: AWS Certified Solution Architect.
• Experience with Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP).
• Project management skills.

Pay

Base Salary Range: $100,000 to $110,000 per annum.
