Koto Buffet Host - FT

Duties and Responsibilities

• Handles initial cordial reception and escort to a dining table.
• Advises guests of waiting times during reservation periods.
• Assists and facilitates the restaurant seating and reservation system.
• Buffet environment: takes guest beverage orders and informs about food outlets.
• Ala carte environment: seats guests and presents menus.
• Answers telephones and takes reservations.
• Verifies reservations and compliments, if applicable.
• Receives payment from casino guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Adheres to cash control policies and procedures.
• Answers guest questions and refers to appropriate management personnel.
• Helps maintain podium by stocking supplies and cleaning as needed.
• Assists with special requests when applicable.
• Answers questions about food offerings, hours of operation, and pricing.
• Maintains professional grooming and appearance.
• Makes guests’ needs a priority, ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled.
• Maintains professional rapport with marketing hosts and communicates needs.
• Demonstrates promptness, efficiency, and courtesy to guests.
• Records preferential information within the reservation system for future service.
• Utilizes menu knowledge.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of fast food/quick service cashier experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
