Konsulent med baggrund som softwareudvikler til sundheds-it
About the role
You will work with mission-critical challenges in health IT, contributing meaningfully to society from day one. As a consultant, you will ensure code quality by reviewing, advising, and guiding external software developers throughout the development process.
You will join a team delivering architecture support, quality assurance, testing, maintenance, and support for one of Denmark’s most critical health platforms, the National Service Platform (NSP) for the Danish Health Data Authority. Your role will involve end-to-end quality assurance for selected projects, ensuring compliance with NSP standards and smooth integration of external developers' deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Conduct ongoing code reviews, providing feedback and sparring to external software developers at key stages of the development process to ensure correct integration with NSP.
- Perform quality assurance of deliverables and ensure they are successfully deployed to production.
- Improve and develop processes and setups within QA, CI/CD, requirements specification, and project structure.
- Participate in Guild work within Architecture or Operations.
- Provide Level 3 (L3) support for users and partners on technically complex issues.
- Future responsibilities may include:
- Advising the customer on business decisions based on technical insights, such as platform integration, quality, and security standards.
- Providing technical guidance on system architecture or CI/CD to maintain and enhance the platform’s delivery capability, security, and performance.
- Serving as the technical sparring partner for the project’s Product Owner, Project Manager, architects, and developers, requiring deep knowledge of both code and NSP.
Requirements
- Ability to help other software developers succeed by providing hands-on feedback and guidance.
- Strong empathy and communication skills to deliver constructive feedback that is well-received.
- Enjoy learning both broadly and deeply—NSP consists of 100+ components and 250+ standards, and you will frequently dive into others' code.
- Comfortable delivering feedback both in writing and verbally to external development teams, with frequent collaboration and visits to Aarhus.
- Minimum of a few years of experience as a backend or full-stack developer, primarily using Java and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or a strong desire to learn these tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Danish.
