Kong Technical Architect

About the Role

We are seeking a Kong-certified Technical Architect to define scope, requirements, and service-level agreements (SLAs) for Kong operationalization. The ideal candidate will propose innovative solutions, establish frameworks, and set baselines for onboarding teams to Kong support activities. This role will drive the initiative at the client end, ensuring the right requirements are met and enabling teams to evolve into an SRE/DevOps model in the future.

Responsibilities

• Define scope and requirements for Kong operationalization.
• Establish SLAs and propose solutions for Kong implementation.
• Create frameworks and baselines for onboarding teams to Kong support activities.
• Lead the initiative at the client end to ensure alignment with technical and business requirements.
• Upgrade and install new Kong data planes (DPs) as required.
• Enable teams to transition toward an SRE/DevOps model.

Requirements

• Kong certification (required).
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant technical experience.
• Proven ability to design and implement Kong-based solutions.
• Experience in defining SLAs, frameworks, and operational baselines.
• Strong leadership skills to drive initiatives at the client end.
• Ability to upgrade, install, and manage Kong data planes.
