Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Buils knowledge of dealer supported product lines, service standards and procedures
- Aids in field repairs and maintenance jobs with supervision
- Provides basic testing knowledge of all machine systems
- Aids in repair and reconditioning of all equipment components and systems
- Develops and employs diagnostic related reasoning skills
- Operates heavy construction equipment in a safe manner
- Aids in the collection of data necessary for efficient inventory control
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment
- Maintains and cares for shop tools, equipment and vehicles
- Aids in completing all paperwork required for jobs
- Maintains close, positive working relationships with service, parts and administrative personnel
- Performs other duties as directed by the Service Management
Required Skills
- Enrolled in Diesel Technology Program at NDSCS
- Willing to obtain a Class A CDL License
