Kohler Leadership Development Program - Human Resources
Program Overview
The Human Resources Leadership Development Program (HRLDP) is designed to develop the next generation of HR leaders through immersive experiences, strategic projects, and meaningful business partnerships. This two-year rotational program provides recent graduates with the opportunity to build expertise across key Human Resources functions while gaining a deep understanding of how talent, culture, and organizational effectiveness drive business success.
Through a series of rotational assignments, participants will partner with leaders across the organization, contribute to high-impact initiatives, and tackle real-world business challenges that influence the employee experience and strengthen organizational performance. Supported by mentorship from experienced HR professionals, leadership exposure, and ongoing professional development opportunities, participants will develop the skills, business acumen, and strategic mindset needed to accelerate their careers and make a lasting impact at Kohler.
What You'll Do
- Explore Diverse HR Functions: Rotate through key areas such as HR business partnership, employee relations, talent acquisition, learning & development, and total rewards to build a well-rounded HR foundation.
- Develop Strategic HR Skills: Strengthen your capabilities in leadership, data-driven decision-making, change management, and employee engagement through real-world challenges.
- Drive Meaningful Change: Contribute to initiatives that shape our culture, support our people, and align with our business strategy.
Program Structure & Experiences
Kohler's Leadership Development Programs are designed as two-year, full-time rotational experiences that provide broad exposure to the business while accelerating leadership readiness. Participants complete 3–4 cross-functional rotations, each lasting 6–8 months, where they contribute to impactful work aligned to business priorities.
Beyond on-the-job experience, participants engage in a structured, enterprise-wide development journey that includes:
- A week-long immersive onboarding experience with their cross-functional cohort
- Intentional semi-annual seminars and quarterly learning sessions throughout the program
- Exposure to senior leaders and key stakeholders across the organization
- Ongoing mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback
- Opportunities to build community through a cohort-based experience and networking events
The program culminates in a formal graduation experience, positioning participants for strategic placement into full-time roles aligned to their strengths, interests, and business priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Must have obtained a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a major in Business, Human Resources, or related field no later than June 2027
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
Pay & Benefits
- Salary range: $56,600 - $84,900. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
- Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
