Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and serve nutritious, safe, and environmentally conscious meals
  • Handle special diets and bread baking
  • Participate in planning menus and purchasing ingredients
  • Be open to preparing new dishes
  • Manage daily dishwashing and cleaning of the kitchen and dining area
  • Collaborate effectively with preschool educators
  • Work independently and methodically while adapting to new situations

Requirements

  • Professional chef training for large kitchens/restaurants or equivalent experience
  • Experience cooking in large quantities
  • Documented experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge and passion for cooking, food quality, sustainability, and customer focus
  • Expertise in handling allergies
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects
  • Team-oriented with a commitment to shared goals
  • Service-minded with a genuine interest in addressing customer needs

Schedule

  • Employment type: Permanent
  • Scope: Full-time
  • Start date: August 10, 2026 (or as agreed)
  • Work hours: Daytime
