Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, update, and maintain KM systems (e.g., SharePoint sites, databases, and internal websites)
  • Assist the Government in advising on the best use of KM tools
  • Enhance information sharing of analysis, assessments, legislative materials, policies, strategies, budget materials, IT information, and other relevant documents
  • Train system users, including IC partners, providing user guides as needed
  • Integrate information with other databases, as required
  • Utilize automated tools and visualizations to facilitate users’ access and ability to analyze information holdings
  • Employ specific tools for unique office needs, as required, which may include interoperability with or ability to share information with other IC or state and local partners
  • Create and maintain virtual communities of interest to enable ODNI and its partners to collaborate, store, search, and discover information; share lessons learned and best practices; and report and track metrics to assess progress against various programs, policies, and strategies
  • Develop simulations and exercises to test database readiness and communication channels
  • Identify opportunities to improve exchanges of information across systems as well as the Government and private sectors
  • Maintain and update an ODNI-wide repository for instructions, Internal Process Documents (IPDs), and policy memoranda
  • Build data repositories for a variety of mission needs that easily and automatically generate a variety of visualizations to support analysis, reporting, and briefings
